We decided to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary by walking Ben Sgulaird followed by2 nights in the Eyrie suite in Appin Bay View. After 8 hours hill walking we got a very warm welcome from our chatty and hospitable host Mike. The Eyrie is a spacious and comfortable room with fantastic views of Castle Stalker and across Loch Linnhe. Mike had kindly put some beers in the fridge and a post shower session IPA was very, very welcome! We had the delicious and unusual Asian breakfast on Friday morning and full cooked on Saturday. Both were excellent. There are many more hills to walk near Appin and we will definitely return!- Andrew G
Had a great relaxing stay here. Mike was so helpful and accommodating .The scenery was exquisite but the great weather we had helped also with this. So many places to go around the area. You are not short of places to eat around here. The sea view room we had and had a balcony was clean and serviced every day breakfast menu to choose from and order the night before. But nothing is too much trouble if you want a variant of whats on the menu. Would definitely stay here again if we are in ge area. Thanks Mike for making our stay so enjoyable.- Andrew F
