I'm not sure there is much to add to the glowing reviews of Mike and his treasure of accommodation at Appin Bay View.The views are breathtaking, the rooms are well-appointed and cozy, and Mike is warm, funny, smart, and a kick to talk to. We really enjoyed every minute of our pampered stay in this special place.The location is perfect for exploring the Highlands.The Old Inn and the Pierhouse Hotel were both great local spots to have dinner. Mike's breakfasts were YUM. I appreciated the sustainability measures he's incorporating into the property. Just awesome all around; we'll be back! - Mike & D
Wonderful stay and great chats with Mike the innkeeper, who knows the area well.He was kind to book us a table at the Old Inn as he knew we would arrive late that day.Even provided head lamps so we could find our way!His culinary skills are excellent...try the Asian breakfast with his homemade chili sauce...still haunts me in the best way possible.Very comfortable bed, best sleep so far.Hope to be back soon! Needed an extra night on short notice due to Ferrys . No problem. Castle room super. Service friendly and excellent . Location hard to beat with the castle view. Breakfast excellent. Very nice place to stay indeed.- Fraser P
